What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a liberal arts field such as English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in a tech platform or other product-based business
- Comfort using modern tools - including AI-assisted writing and research tools - to improve efficiency and support high-quality work
- A portfolio demonstrating strong writing fundamentals across short- and long-form copy
- Ability to follow creative briefs and brand guidelines while adding clarity, polish, and creativity
- Comfort partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and adapting tone for different audiences
- Strong attention to detail and organization across multiple concurrent projects
- Interest or experience in tech, SaaS, or B2B storytelling is a plus

Working Style & Flexibility
- This is a 30-hour-per-week hourly role designed with flexibility in mind
- We know life doesn't fit neatly into a 9-5, and we're thoughtful about how work fits alongside family and other commitments
- Some in-person time is expected, especially early on, to build relationships, collaborate with teammates, and learn our product and business
- In-office time will be planned around your availability, not the other way around
- Over time, in-office expectations will naturally decrease - potentially to one day every couple of weeks - and this is flexible and negotiable
