The role of a Remote Mental Health Counselor is primarily virtual, providing flexibility and the unique ability to connect with clients regardless of location. Utilizing specialized teletherapy software, you will engage in face-to-face therapy sessions that mirror an in-person experience. Regular check-ins and collaborative meetings via video conferencing tools are integral to maintaining quality care and fostering teamwork within our dedicated clinical staff.

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and evaluations to establish client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate engaging one-on-one therapy sessions via webcam, utilizing proven evidence-based methodologies adapted for an online setting; for example, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Monitor client progress through measurable goals and adjust therapy techniques in accordance with their evolving needs.
• Engage in ongoing training and education opportunities to stay current with best practices in digital counseling and enhance therapeutic skills.
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss case management, share expertise, and collaborate with colleagues on program improvements and regulatory compliance.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.

The clients you will serve come from various backgrounds and face a wide array of psychological challenges. From individuals experiencing anxiety and depression to those seeking guidance during significant life transitions, you will play a vital role in each client's journey toward better mental health. Your understanding and adaptability are key to effectively reaching and supporting diverse populations, ensuring that each client feels heard, validated, and empowered.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential for this position.
• Ability to conduct therapy independently without supervision, demonstrating confidence and competence in your practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, patience, and the ability to foster rapport with clients.
• Proficient in utilizing technology for therapy and patient record management, with strong computer literacy skills.

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling is highly desirable, as it enables quicker adaptation to the digital therapeutic environment.
• A background in using specialized therapeutic software or platforms that enhance teletherapy services will be advantageous.
• Previous experience serving diverse populations, particularly in a community health setting, is preferred, as it enhances your ability to provide culturally competent care.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 52,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and hours worked.
