Job description

Construction Loan Processor

The Construction Loan Processor is responsible for administering construction loan disbursements, ensuring all draw requests are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with Bank policies, loan agreements, and regulatory requirements. This role coordinates with borrowers, contractors, inspectors, title companies, and internal partners to facilitate the review and funding of construction draws.

The position ensures that all required documentation is complete and compliant, identifies and resolves discrepancies, and supports the overall integrity of the construction lending process through diligent file maintenance and adherence to established controls.

Essential duties and responsibilities include administering and tracking all construction loan disbursement requests in accordance with Bank policies and established procedures, processing and managing draw requests utilizing the Built fund control system, reviewing draw packages to verify receipt and completeness of required documentation, coordinating property inspections with approved third-party vendors, communicating with borrowers and contractors to obtain missing or incomplete documentation, evaluating draw requests and supporting inspection reports to identify discrepancies, preparing disbursement documentation, maintaining accurate and organized loan files, providing backup support for administrative functions, complying with all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job, and other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications to perform this job successfully include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; knowledge of Microsoft Excel, CLCS and/or Built (fund control software for disbursements); and other skills and abilities as listed.

Physical demands include talking or hearing, standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, operating a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and telephone, lifting and/or moving up to ten (10) pounds, and specific vision abilities including close vision and distance vision.

Work environment is usually moderate.

Salary Range: $30.18 To $42.26 Hourly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
