Pay Range: $30.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Flexible

Experience Level: Mid-Level

Why This Role Exists

This role exists to support continued growth in both R&D and production work at Made Cascade. As new products move from concept to prototype to small-batch production, the sheet metal workload continues to expand.

The Sheet Metal Technician plays a critical role in supporting rapid prototyping, iterative design, and repeat production, ensuring projects move quickly from raw material to finished, shippable parts.

---

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Operate CNC laser cutting and CNC press brake equipment for prototyping and production
  • Program parts directly at the machine console
  • Set up tooling, verify first articles, and maintain repeatable quality
  • Run multiple jobs and bounce between machines as schedules require
  • Interpret manufacturing drawings and work independently from prints
  • Install hardware and fasteners (PEM, standoffs, etc.)
  • Perform post-production work including deburring, polishing, cleaning, and packaging
  • Conduct in-process and final QC inspections to maintain dimensional accuracy
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to provide design-for-manufacturing feedback
  • Assist with other shop projects during downtime

This is a true job-shop environment, not button-pushing production.

---

  • Manual fabrication tools (as needed)
