Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Agility Peak Physical Therapy, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and collaboratively creating individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Instructing patients on the proper use of therapeutic exercise techniques for maximal benefit.
• Administering hands-on therapy, including stimulation and massage, to aid in the healing process.
• Walking patients through the safe and effective use of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers.
• Maintaining comprehensive patient records, tracking goals and progress to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Providing valuable advice to patients and their families regarding home-based treatment options and ongoing exercise routines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including children recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals managing chronic conditions. Your expertise will support rehabilitation, pain management, and the achievement of personal mobility goals, ensuring each patient receives the specialized attention necessary for their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Physical Therapist position at Agility Peak, candidates must possess the following:

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills relevant to patient record management.
• Flexibility and agility in adapting to varying patient needs and work environments.

Preferred Experience

While we are open to hiring candidates with varying levels of experience, a minimum of two years in a clinical physical therapy setting is preferred. Familiarity with home care models and the ability to engage effectively with patients of all ages will greatly enhance your candidacy.
