INDUSTRY: Heavy Civil Construction & Site Services
LOCATION: Rhome, TX
CONTEXT: Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join their team. This role is critical to keeping operations moving smoothly by safely transporting water, equipment, and materials to and from various job sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a commitment to a rigorous safety culture, and the flexibility to handle diverse hauling requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Safely operate commercial trucks to transport water, equipment, and materials to and from designated job sites.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, time tracking, and required regulatory paperwork.
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured and fully meet DOT regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials, including performing physical labor as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, project managers, and job site supervisors.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and federal DOT safety standards.
  • Travel long distances and work weekend shifts as operational demands require.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a current DOT medical card.
  • Clean driving record; must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with physical labor as needed.
  • Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional routes in the North Texas area.
  • Experience or knowledge in flatbed hauling, RGN (Removable Gooseneck), or aggregate hauling (including truck/pup, belly dump, and end dump) is preferred.
  • Tanker endorsement is highly preferred.
