We are looking for a Switch Production Assembler to support our SJE Rhombus brand. This role will work out of our Detroit Lakes, MN location.
Detroit Lakes is the home office for SJE and is the leading manufacturer of our liquid level control products, including pump control panels, alarm systems, float switches, and level monitoring solutions. The job:
As our Switch Production Assembler, you will build float switches according to the production schedule. You will have the opportunity to work with tools, machines, robots, and automation equipment. You will work in a safe, clean and air-conditioned environment!
These float switches detect the level of liquid within a tank or container, acting as a mechanical switch to operate pumps, valves, or alarms. Our float switches can be found in residential, commercial, municipal and agricultural settings.

No other experience or knowledge is required. We will train you on everything you need to know to be successful as an Assembler and create a growth path for you to build your future.

  • What are the hours? Three day shift schedules available:
    • Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 6:00 am - 11:00 am
    • Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am - 12:00 pm
    • Friday - Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
  • What is your Paid Time Off and holiday policy? Up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in your first year plus 8 paid holidays.
  • What is the starting wage? The starting salary for this position is $18.00 per hour.
