Job description

Join “Team Frog” as a Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently drive and deliver the freshest produce to Metro Detroit’s best restaurants, hotels, and sporting arenas on pre-established routes!
  • Excellent Pay & Benefits, Team Environment, typical daily schedule of 6am – 3:00 pm. Typical 8-9 hour work day. Monday- Saturday. Scheduled 4-5 days a week with an occasional 6th day. Must be open to working 6 days a week.

Pay/Benefits – Paid EVERY THURSDAY

- Starting wage $18.50 for drivers with Chauffer License-$19.50 hourly for Class B Drivers.

- Full Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and 401K with a 3% company match.

Job Overview for Delivery Driver:

· Safely drive and deliver produce to restaurants in a 26ft Box Truck. Delivery routes average 10 – 20 customer deliveries per route.

· Unload produce cases on 2-wheeler ”dolly” from truck and deliver to customer’s specified areas (10 – 30 cases per delivery).

· Inspect product and invoice for accuracy and quality.

· Maintain friendly and professional interaction with customers.

· Communicate with office dispatch, customer service, and sales representatives.

· Accurately complete and organize delivery paperwork, truck inspections, and product returns.

· Communicate with customers and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner – treat customers and co-workers how you like to be treated!

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

· Valid Class B license preferred but, will accept active Chauffer's License as well.

. 3 months experience driving 26 ft box truck required.

· 1 Year of delivery experience is a plus.

· Ability to lift 40-60 pounds and move on & off equipment regularly.
