We are looking for a Field Service Technician located in Evans, CO. The Pump Mechanic Field Technician is responsible for performing basic to advanced maintenance, new equipment installations, and troubleshooting actions either in the shop or field. What You Will Do:
  • Executes the commissioning and decommissioning of multiplex pump skids and components at oil and gas wellsites for use on Jet Pump artificial lift, Salt Water Disposal (SWD) Systems, and other facilities.
  • Perform repairs and troubleshoot multiplex pumps and it's auxiliary components for operation. Including but not limited to; electric motor and their variable speed drives (VSD), safety switches, flow meters, various valves, lubrication, and sump pumps.
  • Complete preventative maintenance on the above equipment at regular intervals.
  • Timely and accurately write up service tickets for the customers to review and be invoiced.
  • Develops good working relationships with customers through professional communication. Respond to customer calls and assist with technical questions.
  • Contributes to the department's continuous improvement culture.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and service multiplex pumps, commonly known as Triplex's and Quintuplex's.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and service Jet Pump systems used for artificial lift in the oil and gas industry.
  • Responds to customer calls and assist with technical questions.
  • Participate with on-call rotation for the facility, as required by the business.
  • Maintains a clean and well-organized work area and company truck.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1 years of experience as a field service mechanic troubleshooting and repairing multiplex pumps and jet pump artificial lift systems.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record per company standards
  • 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle experience

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Employee is required to occasionally walk-in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
  • Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push.
  • Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
  • Work normally is executed at customer field locations in a variety of weather and temperature conditions.
  • Some work is accomplished indoors and in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
  • Work may include visits to customer offices or field locations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of downhole pumps and completions.
  • Working knowledge of multi-cylinder engines.
  • Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) and Automation

Position Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 DOE
