Description - Responsibilities You Will Have

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, diagnose any discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on lab machinery.
• Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all testing processes, train new staff or students, and play a part in maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean laboratory environment, following all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within your first year of joining.
• Continual maintenance of current certification is required throughout employment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork with healthcare professionals.
• Able to exercise sound judgment and problem-solve during high-pressure circumstances.
• Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding documentation and quality control.
