Job description

Job Description Oversee, manage, identify, asses, review & orchestrate execution of appropriate risk mitigation plans for specific Change Activities such as emergency changes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administration of Globe Telecom's security platforms which includes but is not limited to firewalls, ASAV, APT, SIEM, VPN, etc.. Responsibilities include:

  • Documentation of security platform builds

  • Closure of incidents/events

  • Security Log analysis, action and escalation (if necessary)

  • Investigation of security platform incidents/events

  • Security Metrics reporting

  • Provide progress report/ response to customers (NTG, IG, ISG and EG) within the agreed SLA

  • L2 support for policy/information security requests provisioning

  • L2 troubleshooting on telco and enterprise grade firewall and other security devices. Provide Level 2 support for security related events and incidents. Diagnostics, isolation, and provisioning should be performed.

  • Perform documentation of policies and procedures.

  • Develop processes for basic security platform monitoring and handling for the Threat Hunting Operations Department.

  • Lead and are SMEs for Security Platform projects.

  • Review of security platform policies and increase the security posture of Globe Telecoms security platforms.

  • Vendor management for security platform vendor escalations.

  • Develop and Execute BCM plans and practices.

KPIs:

  • Closure of Incidents/events within agreed SLA

  • Request and provisioning within agreed SLA

  • Incident response and escalation within agreed SLA

TOP 3-5 DELIVERABLES:

  • Administration of Globe Telecom's security platforms which includes but is not limited to firewalls, ASAV, APT, SIEM, VPN, etc..

  • Closure of incidents/events

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or any IT-related courses (should be 4-5 years course)

  • Training in Information Security, ITSM, Project Management, Business Process Admin, & Quality

  • Minimum of 4 years work experience in Telecom or IT.

Certification/License:

Preferably has certification: CCSA/CCSE, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, RHCT/RHCE, CEH, CISA/CISM/CISSP.
