Job description

Seeking a production associate to work on our potato line, hanging 20-pound bags of potatoes.
Applications accepted in person - Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9 am -12 pm near employee entrance door under canopy. Garden Fresh Foods, 14316 203rd Street, Woodinville, WA 98072

Summary: sorting, hanging and packing through the means of quality control to achieve a high standard of food safety for our customers.
Shift: 3-4 days a week, 8-10 hour shifts starting at 6am weekdays. Weekends OFF!
Work Environment: The physical environment requires a Production I employee to work in a cook room environment, temperatures average 70-80 degrees. The individual will occasionally act as a backup in a refrigerated 36-38 degree area on days the cook room is not operating. Conditions may also include wet floors and equipment. Personal Protective Equipment is required in this facility. Employee must be aware of surroundings and be safety-minded.
Physical Requirements: Standing 8+ hours; walking; bending; reaching overhead and out in front; lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs; hand dexterity in handling both small and large objects. Ability to push and pull racks as needed. Work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up pre-line attachments to conveyor and prepare for incoming raw food product.
  • Visually examine and determine food quality to be disposed or salvaged.
  • Chop, slice, peel, and core raw food product to then be processed.
  • Clean entire prep-line conveyors and attachments before and after each new raw food product.
  • Coordinate with Supervisors on quality control.
  • Communicate with other prep-line associates on the intake quantity and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Acknowledge food safety standards and general cleanliness of handling product.
  • Can package, seal, and box prep product with minimal assistance.
  • Be competent in all Production I training items in one plant.

SQF & HARPC Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of Food Safety and Product Quality through the cleaning of the facility.
  • Prevent cross-contamination through proper cleaning and sanitation of all conveyors and prep-line attachments.
