What is a French teaching assistant?

French Teaching Assistants are educational professionals who support classroom teachers in teaching the French language. They help students with speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French, often providing individualized or small-group instruction. Their responsibilities may include preparing learning materials, assisting with lesson planning, and helping to create an engaging, immersive environment for language acquisition. They work in schools, language centers, or universities and may also assist with cultural activities to enhance students' understanding of French-speaking cultures.
