Make Your Mark Supporting Canadaโ€™s Search and Rescue Mission
Are you ready to play a frontline role in one of Canadaโ€™s most meaningful aerospace programs?

AirPro SAR Services Inc., a proud Canadian joint venture between Airbus Defence and Space and PAL Aerospace, delivers end-to-end support for the Royal Canadian Air Forceโ€™s Fixed Wing Search and Rescue (FWSAR) fleet. Our work matters, every mission, every part, every person. We are united by a single goal: to keep the CC295 Kingfisher fleet flying and ready to respond when Canadians need it most.

Weโ€™re currently looking for a Field Service Representative (FSR) to join our growing team. Youโ€™ll be the critical link between AirPro and the customer, helping ensure fleet readiness at the Trenton Main Operating Base (MOB). This isnโ€™t just a job, itโ€™s a way to contribute directly to a national, lifeโ€‘saving mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interface: Serve as the main point of contact with the customerโ€™s maintenance and operational teams, ensuring seamless communication and support after fleet entry into service.
  • Technical Support: Collaborate closely with the AirPro engineering team to track, resolve, and implement technical solutions, while providing guidance on troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with the customerโ€™s technical organization, identifying and addressing operational concerns in technical documentation, procedures, and daily operations.
  • Fleet Management: Assist the customer in tracking and resolving technical faults across the fleet, ensuring that all queries are appropriately addressed and that aircraft availability is optimized.
  • Spare Parts Coordination: Provide technical assessments on frequent spare parts requests, identifying and addressing unforeseen needs that may impact fleet operations.
  • Training and Guidance: Offer technical guidance to customer aircraft technicians and coordinate with them on procedures for reporting technical issues, managing component warranties, and implementing modifications as per service bulletins.
  • Operational Assessment: Continually assess the aircraft fleetโ€™s operational activity and report any relevant support issues, ensuring that the fleet is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between AirProโ€™s engineering teams, and the customer to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the FWSAR programme.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five yearsโ€™ experience in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) or Aerospace Engineering.
  • EASA license and/or AME M2 license is an asset.
  • Located in Canada or willing to relocate and work in Canada.
  • Experience with multiโ€‘engine aircraft is required.
  • Superior customer service and relationshipโ€‘building skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English; fluency in French is desirable.
  • Proven ability to coordinate support services effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problemโ€‘solving abilities.
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain Government of Canada security clearance

What We Offer:

  • A role with purpose, supporting Canadaโ€™s SAR capabilities
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Defined Contribution Pension Plan
  • Employee & Family Assistance Program
  • Work will be performed on-site within MOB hanger on CFB Trenton
  • A chance to be part of a proudly Canadian mission, backed by worldโ€‘class aerospace partners

At AirPro, we believe in the power of teamwork, trust, and Canadian ingenuity. This is your opportunity to make a difference, on the ground and in the air. Join us and be proud of the role you play in supporting those who serve all Canadians.
