Ryder is Now Hiring Regional CDL-A Truck Drivers in Middletown, OHDrivers Average $2,050+ per Week - $3,000 Sign-On Bonus - No-Touch Freight
Tanker Endorsement Required at Time of Interview


Pay, Home Time & More:
  • Earn $2,050+ average weekly
  • Solo Miles Pay: $0.62 per mile with 2,000 - 3,000 miles per week
  • Solo Stops Pay: $50 per stop with 8 -10 stops per week
  • Per Diem Pay: $45 per night with 2-3 nights per week
  • $35 Detention pay - $37 Drop/hook at wash pay - 5 per week
  • Sign-on bonus: Pays you $3,000; $1,500 at 30 days, $1,500 at 90 days
  • Safety Bonus: $4,500 - $1,500 paid at 3 months, $1,500 paid at 6 months, and $1,500 paid at 9 months
  • Route: Regional with 2 - 3 layovers per week
  • Comprehensive benefits package


Schedule, Freight & Equipment:
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday with rotating Sunday dispatch 2 times per month
  • Based in Middletown, with driver domiciles available in Gary, IN.
  • Start time: 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM
  • Deliver solo to: OH, MI, IN, PA, WV, MS, AL, GA, IL, TN, AR, SC, NC, KY
  • Tractor Type: Sleeper; Manual Transmission
  • Trailer Type: Liquid tanker trailer
  • Freight: No-touch – Driver will connect hoses and pressurize trailer with assistance

Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 9 months of experience within the past 3 years
  • Candidates must hold a Tanker endorsement
  • Candidates are preferred to have a HAZMAT endorsement
  • 6 months of tanker experience
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission or be willing to have the restriction removed
  • Ryder will train you on all the equipment needed to be successful
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
