PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with booking air shipments and preparing documentation such as air waybills and customs forms.
  • Enter shipment details into internal systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor shipment status and update stakeholders as directed by senior staff.
  • Coordinate basic cargo pick-up and delivery arrangements under supervision.
  • Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and transport providers for routine operational needs.
  • Respond to standard customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior coordinators or managers.
  • Support invoicing and administrative tasks related to air freight jobs.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and assist with regulatory requirements under guidance.

Minimum Essential Qualifications
  • 1-2 years' experience in air freight or logistics operations (entry-level candidates with relevant training may be considered).
  • Basic understanding of customs and aviation regulations is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to freight systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
  • Willingness to learn and take on varied operational tasks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • This position is generally sedentary in nature; involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel.

In compliance with applicable state and local laws, the salary range for this position varies based on the work location. Please review the ranges below:
Expected base pay range (NY, CA, IL): $24.52/hour- $32.69/hour, plus bonus
This range represents the salary range for this position in these locations. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
