Job description

C2's client, a digital-first agency specializing in social media strategy, content creation, community management, and performance marketing, seeks a Digital Producer to lead the execution of digital marketing and content production projects across a diverse portfolio of client accounts.


The agency creates personality-driven, video-first content that turns audiences into long-term brand fans rather than one-time customers. Their work blends real-time content production with thoughtful planning, using strategy, creativity, and performance data to produce campaigns that resonate across platforms. This role sits at the center of that process, bringing clarity to moving pieces while coordinating people, resources, timelines, and deliverables from kickoff through final delivery.


Success comes from understanding how digital marketing work gets made. This is a production role, not a creative or strategy position. The person who thrives here enjoys bringing order to complexity, coordinating people and resources, anticipating challenges before they become problems, and keeping projects moving without losing sight of quality, budgets, or deadlines.


Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Full-time contract, 9-12 months with potential to convert to full-time

Location: Hybrid, Milwaukee, WI

Compensation: $35-$50/hour, commensurate with experience, as a W2 employee of C2

Responsibilities


Project Leadership

  • Build and maintain projects, timelines, budgets, documentation, and resource plans within Workamajig
  • Partner with account management and creative leadership to understand project goals, priorities, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Lead kickoff meetings, production check-ins, and internal status meetings while keeping teams aligned on priorities and next steps
  • Own project progress, budgets, scope, allocated hours, and delivery timelines, proactively identifying risks and communicating impacts before they affect delivery
  • Coordinate handoffs across account management, creative, digital, development, and production teams to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Help teams reprioritize work as priorities shift while ensuring deliverables remain client-ready


Production Resource Planning

  • Partner with creative leadership to identify the right mix of internal team members, freelancers, and external production partners
  • Coordinate freelancer schedules, assignments, workloads, revisions, timelines, and final asset delivery across multiple concurrent projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for freelance designers, developers, editors, videographers, writers, photographers, and additional production partners
  • Build strong relationships with freelance partners while helping forecast resource needs and communicate capacity challenges


Digital Production

  • Coordinate production across paid media, social media, websites, video, digital advertising, and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, strategists, media specialists, content creators, and production partners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review deliverables for completeness, quality, and production readiness before internal review
  • Identify production risks, feasibility concerns, and workflow improvements before work begins


Requirements

  • 3+ years of digital, creative, or integrated marketing project management or production experience within an agency or similarly fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates the organizational discipline, communication skills, and proactive problem-solving expected of a professional agency producer by anticipating challenges, maintaining organized project documentation, communicating risks early, and keeping work moving through changing priorities
  • Confidence using Workamajig or comparable project management software
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing production across websites, paid media, social media, video, digital advertising, and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, budgets, timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams from kickoff through delivery
  • Experience coordinating internal creative teams, freelancers, and external production partners
