ย
Title: Web Content Specialist (Remote)
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote
ย
This is a remote role, prefer candidates local to the east coast - candidates must be willing to support EST time zone.
ย
Only W2 candidates are eligible for this position. Third-party or C2C candidates will not be considered

Position Type: Full time, 6-month anticipated assignment.
Department: Corporate Communicationsย
ย
Description:
ย
Our clientโ€™s Corporate Communications team is looking for a Platforms Specialist to support a temporary leave for approximately six months. Youโ€™ll own the day-to-day publishing and upkeep of our external website and intranetโ€”making sure content shows up where it should, looks the way it should, and stays healthy over time.ย

The role also lands at an important moment:ย weโ€™reย in the middle of a major content cleanup tied to a migration andย replatform/redesign of client . A meaningful share of the work is wrangling legacy contentโ€”reviewing, tidying, retagging, archiving, republishingโ€”at volume. Not glamorous, but high-impact and genuinely important.ย

Key Insights:

  • The hiring team is primarily looking for a candidate with a strong Web Content Management background.
  • Hands-on experience managing web content, day-to-day publishing and upkeep of website.
  • Figma and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) are considered nice-to-haveย and not mandatory.
  • Candidates coming from a strong Web Content Management background should still be considered even if they do not have direct experience with these tools and if they have idea about Figma or AEM.
  • Freelancers may be considered if they have supported large enterprise organizations, but candidates without corporate/enterprise experience would not be preferred.

Whatย youโ€™llย doย ย

  • Publish andย maintainย content on Clientโ€™s external website (Adobe Experience Manager) and intranet.ย
  • Partner with designers, writers, and editors to build pages within our established design system and brand guidelines.ย
  • Triage and execute content requests from across the business. Requests come via email, Teams, and ad hoc conversations rather than a ticketing system, so clear communication and keeping your own record ofย whatโ€™sย inย flight is essential.ย
  • Make judgment calls. If an asset is missing or a request is ambiguous, dig in and propose a solution rather than waiting to be told what to do.ย
  • Run ongoing audits of site and intranet healthโ€”metadata, accuracy, broken links, outdated pagesโ€”and fix what you find.ย
  • Contribute directly to our content cleanup and migration effort at scale.ย

Whatย weโ€™reย looking forย

  • Genuinely self-directed. Youย takeย a goal, ask the right questions, and run with it. Micromanagementย isnโ€™tย our style.ย
  • Strong communicator across email, Teams, and meetingsโ€”able to chase down decisions and keep stakeholders informed without being asked.ย
  • Bias toward action and problem-solving.ย
  • Tolerance (ideally, some enthusiasm) for detailed, repetitive work done well. Enterprise content cleanup is a grind.ย
  • Exacting attention to detail. Typos and broken links should bother you.ย

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree (preferred) or
  • HS Diploma or GED (minimum) or Associate's Degree with **significant** practical experience (2-3+ years supporting enterprise content management).ย

Skills & Experienceย

  • Some hands-on experience publishing in a web content management system. The specific platform matters less than understanding how content management worksโ€”weโ€™llย get you up to speed on our AEM build.ย
  • Familiarity with web and metadata standards (Schema.org, Open Graph, Google Core Web Vitals).ย
  • Proficiencyย with Microsoft 365.
  • Strong Web Content Management experience
  • Experience managing digital content platforms and publishing workflows
  • Enterprise/corporate environment experience preferred
  • AEM/Figma exposure is a plus but not a mandatory requirement

Nice to haveย

  • Enterprise CMS and/or DAM experience.ย
  • Comfort using Figma toย mock upย page layouts from existing components.ย
  • Light writing or editing chops.ย

Interview Process:

  • ย Supervisor Title: Senior Manager, Platforms & Experienceย
