Job description

Tombras, a 600+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Senior Producer that can lead productions across video, digital, social, experiential, stills, etc. Someone who has a strong relationship with production partners and freelance talent, a creative thinker, very good at budgeting and negotiating, creating and maintaining complex production, entrepreneurial in spirit, and able to jump in and wear a bunch of different hats.
You'll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America. Where you'll be working: Knoxville, TN
What you'll be doing:
  • Lead productions from concept development through final delivery
  • Work on multiple concurrent productions
  • Have strong relationships with production partners
  • Have strong relationships with freelance talent, directors, editors, etc.
  • Ensure projects are executed on time and on budget while protecting the creative vision
  • Anticipate production challenges and proactively develop solutions
  • Collaborate with Creative and Account teams during concept development.
  • Advise on production feasibility & ballpark costs to shape ideas that can be executed within timing and budget
  • Push craft both hi-fi and low-fi
  • Aggressive in learning and being at the forefront of new technologies and production methodologies
  • Open and excited about doing productions of all sizes and mediums: video, stills, activations, digital, etc.
  • Oversee production budgets ranging from small digital content to large-scale HiFi productions
  • Highly capable in creating production estimates and budgets
  • Adept at understanding both union & nonunion talent
  • Strong at negotiating production costs with vendors and production partners
  • Ensure financial accountability throughout every stage of production
  • Able to get creative with cost-saving while keeping the creative quality
  • Approve vendor estimates, change orders, and final billing
  • Passionate about finding new production talent
  • Serve as the senior production representative in client meetings
  • Able to run meetings and present production plans and recommendations
  • Build client relationships and confidence
  • Manage expectations regarding timing, scope, and budget
  • Lead in production presentations and pre-production meetings
  • Able to Identify production risks early and partnering with Business Affairs on contracts, licensing, talent, insurance, and legal considerations
  • Protect agency and client interests throughout production

What you bring:
  • 10-15+ years of advertising production experience
  • Extensive experience producing traditional commercials, branded content, digital campaigns, activations, and integrated productions
  • Strong understanding of production across live action, photography, animation, VFX, post-production, audio, experiential, digital, and social content
  • Proven leadership managing large, complex productions
  • Industry relationships across production partners and vendors
  • Expertise in budgeting, negotiations, scheduling, and production operations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Kind and positive attitude
