Manager, SCaaS Analytics

Role Overview:

The Manager, SCaaS Analytics primary responsibility is to develop business intelligence products and perform analysis in support of Asurion Supply Chain Management (SCM). Global SCM has over 3,000 associates and technicians on four continents providing forward and reverse logistics and repair functions delivering world-class fulfillment options to our clients and customers. The analyst will primarily be providing analytical support and a robust reporting infrastructure for the newly created SCaaS line of business in SCM functions including repair operations, planning, procurement, and quality. We're looking for someone who is self-driven, innovative, and passionate in building creative solutions to solve business problems.

This role will report directly to the Sr. Director, SCaaS Implementation.

Responsibilities:
o Utilize business intelligence tools and analytic skills to develop reports, create dashboards, and deliver data products to identify opportunities and drive actionable outcomes
o Tell a story with data to our stakeholders through visualization.
o Be an expert in the collection, aggregation, and presentation of data from disparate sources through the ability to write complex queries and develop dashboards. Enhance processes through automation.
o Apply descriptive statistics and develop alerts/alarms using statistical process control and other techniques.
o Leverage the capability of our AWS big-data platform for near real-time identification of performance changes
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the business problem, gather business requirements, and deliver reporting products
o Own the integrity of work and actions; operate with a high degree of autonomy in a direct support relationship to primary customers and meet all requirements with minimal management oversight
o Identify opportunities and pursue process improvements within data products

Technical Skills:
o Intermediate SQL knowledge
o Strong visualization experience (data transformation, segmentation, clustering, etc.) to create dynamic dashboards in order to tell a story (e.g. Spotfire, Tableau, PowerBI)
o Solid ability to create automated reports taking advantage of aggregations, proper formatting, and utilizing standard reporting tools (e.g. SSRS, PowerBI)
o Experience with statistical analysis tools
o Able to prepare high-quality documentation and presentations
o Strong interpersonal skills including confidence in dealing with people at all levels of the organization, ability to manage intake, and present insights

Experience:
o Minimum of 4 years' experience in Data Analytics roles, specifically in handset repair or supply chain operations.
o Service in telecommunications, insurance industries or supply chain/logistics functions is a plus


Education:
o Bachelor's degree in MIS or Quantitative Disciplines (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering)
