Job description

Operating proactively and collaboratively as part of Lafayette College's Communications Division, the Athletic Communications Department serves to publicize and promote Lafayette through the College's 23 NCAA Division I sports. Utilizing strategic public relations, marketing and communications efforts, Lafayette's outstanding student-athletes are showcased for their incredible balance of athletic endeavors and academic pursuits.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Video Production Manager and the Video Production Assistant
- Direct live broadcasts for ESPN+/Lafayette Sports Network
- Manage a team of freelancers
- Set up and breakdown equipment for broadcasts
- Assist in continuing to curate a brand for Lafayette Athletics
- Increasing non-gameday content to promote Lafayette's mission and core values
Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut X
- Experience in Live Sport Productions
o Experience with NewTek Products (Tricaster, 3 PLAY, NC I/O), and SimplyLive preferred but not required
- Background/experience in post-production
- Passion for college athletics
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Knowledge of JVC Pro cameras, and filming live events
- Preferred Knowledge of Canon cameras
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
Part-time position, Hours will vary by week and sports schedule. Single rate per game worked.
