Job Description
The Special Assets Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and resolution of an assigned loan portfolio with the goal of minimizing credit losses, maximizing recoveries, and returning credits to performing status. The Special Assets Manager works closely with the Chief Credit Officer in the early detection of emerging problem credits. This position also assists with additional Credit Administration functions and projects, as needed.
- Special Assets/Loan Workout - 75%
- Portfolio Management - 20%
- Credit Administration / Loan Review - 5%
Compensation Range: $90,000 - $130,000
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance, Economics or related field) preferred
- 5+ years of commercial credit experience
- 3+ years of prior collection experience
- Demonstrated regulatory knowledge, understanding and ability to apply accounting, banking laws, required rules and regulations, credit policy, and risk-rating requirements as necessary.
