Job description

Description:

Overview

Are you obsessed about making YouTube content? Do you love storytelling, wild ideas, and creating videos that millions of people around the world actually watch? Do you want a job where you’re not stuck behind a desk all day, but instead writing bringing your YouTube storyline ideas to life???

Alright… Spy Ninjas might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Imagine this: You’re in a writer’s room with a team of laugh-out-loud funny creatives pitching ideas, breaking serialized stories of spy missions, battle royale fight scenes, and moments of comedic gold. Then you’re on set directing that same legendary script. Then you’re in the edit, shaping it into something fast, funny, and impossible to click away from. Not a bad way to spend your work day, right?

We’re a tight, in-house creative team that genuinely enjoys working together. We improv, experiment, pitch ideas, laugh a lot, eat snacks and constantly challenge each other to make better videos. It’s fast-paced, collaborative, and yes, really fun!!

We’re looking for a YouTube-obsessed Creative (Editor / Writer / Director) who wants to help us create videos people can’t stop watching, and have a great time doing it.

Ideally, you’re a strong YouTube editor who can level up into writing and directing. But if you already bring those skills to the table? Even better.

Responsibilities

  • Come up with video ideas that people will actually click on and watch all the way through
  • Write scripts that are fast-paced, engaging, and built for retention
  • Direct shoots with actors and creators, keeping energy high and content focused
  • Film using YouTube-style techniques that keep things dynamic and watchable
  • Edit in Adobe Premiere with strong pacing, humor, and storytelling instincts
  • Create thumbnails in Photoshop that stand out and drive clicks
  • Handle post-production: color, sound, and final delivery
  • Collaborate daily with a team that is constantly testing and improving content
  • Stay on top of YouTube trends, formats, and what’s working right now

Your First 3 Months (Training Program) On site in Las Vegas

Everyone starts with a hands-on, paid training period where you’ll learn how Spy Ninjas videos are made from start to finish.

You’ll rotate through:

  • Writing and story development
  • Filming (camera, lighting, sound)
  • Directing and working with talent
  • Props, wardrobe, and visual setup
  • Editing and post-production
  • YouTube strategy (thumbnails, retention, performance)

This is where you learn how we actually make videos that reach millions. Your performance during this time will determine your role on the team.

Who This Is For

  • People who want to build a career in YouTube, not just “try it out”
  • Creators who are always thinking of ideas, formats, and improvements
  • Writers, editors, and filmmakers who want their work seen at scale
  • Team players who enjoy being around other creative people

What You Get

  • Your work seen by millions of viewers around the world
  • Real experience on a high-performing YouTube channel
  • Mentorship from a team that understands what works on YouTube
  • A collaborative, creative, and high-energy work environment
