Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Inspector to join our team. As a Freelance Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of various products and services to ensure they meet our quality standards. You will work closely with our team to identify any issues and provide recommendations for improvement. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in this role. Ultimately, you will play a key role in ensuring our products and services meet the highest level of quality.

Minimum qualifications and experience required for inspectors deployed for this work scope are:

· A technical/academic qualification gained in a related discipline beyond school leaver’s certificate

· Time served apprenticeship or minimum 3 years training in the manufacturing/plant fabrication or construction industry

· 5 years continuous experience as a vendor/ manufacturing or goods receipt inspector

· Knowledge and application of international Standards: ASME, ANSI, API

· Certified to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System

· Ability to interpret requirements of Purchase Orders, Company specification requirements and approved drawings

· Ability to review Material and Test certificates and required documentation as may be applicable to a particular line item to establish compliance with International Standards and Company’s specification requirements

· Knowledge and understanding of European Standard BS EN 10204 for Metallic Products - Types of inspection documents

· Inspectors are required to be trained and certified in the use of Alloy Analyzers for Positive Material Identification (PMI) of CRA material

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software packages and use of the internet
