Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic Immunization Specialist RN at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will help our patients, their families, and our healthcare team stay protected from preventable diseases so they can achieve optimal health and well-being within our community.

Every day you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive immunization care for selected patient populations. You will be expected to remain current with the latest immunization standards, educate the team on best practices, and meticulously manage vaccine inventory and data within NDIIS.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong clinical background as a Registered Nurse, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of current immunization guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Continues education with the latest standards for immunizations and vaccinations.
  • Assists in educating the team on newest standards.
  • Works closely with NDIIS for auditing, tracking, and information input.
  • Maintains state and private inventory.
  • Participates in annual state immunization evaluations.

We are offering a $10,000 Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required 

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Registered Nurse: North Dakota or Compact License.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Card (BLS-CPR).
