Job Title: Test Engineer

Space Test and Evaluation Engineer Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at 1925 Aerotech Drive, with occasional work at Schriever SFB as required. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Test Director in all phases of test and evaluation, from planning and execution to analysis and reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of space domain awareness, missile defense, C2 networks, data management, and machine-to-machine sensor orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Test Director in the timely planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of tests, ensuring adherence to all organizational guidance and policies
  • Prepare written materials, including charters, briefs, plans, and reports, to support test and evaluation activities
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of military and civilian personnel
  • Communicate complex technical topics related to space domain awareness, missile defense, and sensor orchestration to a variety of audiences

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or STEM equivalent
  • 5-10 years of work experience
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong technical background in one or more of the following areas: Space Domain Awareness, Missile Defense, C2 Networks, Data Management, or Machine to Machine sensor orchestration

Work Environment:

  • Location:On-site; 1925 Aerotech Drive, Colorado Springs, CO
  • Travel Requirements:Minimal (0-10%)
  • Working Hours:Normal business hours

Compensation:

  • For Colorado only, the salary range for this position is approximately $115,000 - $145,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Other Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
