Job Description:
Sr. Java Engineer
Location: REMOTE
Role Overview
This is a hands-on development role focused on greenfield projects within a brokerage environment. The position requires a senior engineer to contribute to the design, development, deployment, and testing of new services and distributed systems. The role involves ramping up on an existing application to extract and refactor business logic while building cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on coding on a daily basis.
• Develop and support distributed applications in a cloud-native environment.
• Own work from concept through production with end-to-end ownership.
• Collaborate with team members to modernize and extend platform capabilities.
• Operate in a fast-moving environment where system reliability and scalability are important.
• Engage in the full development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and testing.

• EKS (Kubernetes)

Preferred Qualifications

• A background in financial services or trading is a plus.
• Strong experience with distributed systems.
