 About IPA

For over 30 years, IPA has been the trusted leader in automated infection prevention solutions — helping hospitals nationwide reduce infection risk and drive operational efficiency through our clariFy software solution that powers our scrubEx, alEx, and vendEx product lines. We don't just innovate; we deliver measurable impact for healthcare providers and their patients. As we continue expanding our reach within the community hospital segment, we're looking for an Inside Sales Representative who's ready to own a territory, build lasting relationships, and drive real revenue results — all from a remote environment.

This is an opportunity to join a respected organization with a strong brand, an established customer base, and significant room for growth. You'll have the autonomy to run your own book of business with the support of experienced sales leaders and cross-functional partners who are invested in your success.

If you excel at building relationships, managing a full sales cycle remotely, and creating long-term value for customers, we'd like to talk with you.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • This is not an appointment-setting role — its account of ownership, relationship development, and revenue execution.
  • You'll engage all existing IPA customers and prospective customers across IPA's target market segments, building trusted relationships with clinical, supply chain, and administrative stakeholders to drive growth.  You'll drive new equipment sales, expand CoverCare service agreements, identify hosting and replacement opportunities, and activate new accounts — all through proactive outbound selling via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Every win is earned through preparation, persistence, and disciplined pipeline execution.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a track record of quota attainment and know what it means to be accountable for a book of business from prospecting through close.
  • Consultative by nature. You lead with discovery, ask the right questions, and build credibility with diverse stakeholders — not just the person who answers the phone.
  • Disciplined in your process. You manage your pipeline with intention — same-day CRM updates, accurate forecasting, and next-step commitments at every stage.
  • Relentlessly proactive. You don't wait for opportunities to come to you. You create them through consistent outreach and a deep understanding of your accounts.
  • Collaborative when it counts. You know when to engage field resources, service teams, or leadership to improve win probability — and you do it without losing ownership of the deal.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated quota attainment
  • Proven experience managing a defined account portfolio with full sales cycle ownership
  • Remote selling proficiency — phone, email, and virtual meetings are your primary channels
  • Strong CRM discipline, preferably Salesforce, with accurate real-time pipeline documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence across multiple stakeholder types

STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • Healthcare or acute-care hospital sales experience
  • Medical or capital equipment sales background
  • Service agreement or recurring revenue sales experience
  • Familiarity with GPO relationships, hospital procurement cycles, and capital buying processes

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Performance-Based Compensation: Base salary plus quota-based variable compensation for equipment sales and CoverCare renewals, with commissions for net new CoverCare unit additions.
  • 100% Remote — sell from anywhere with a strong, structured virtual approach
  • Competitive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) — active day 1, no waiting period
  • Flexible Time Off Schedule
  • 401(k) + Company matching
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) — own a piece of what you're building
  • Sales Type: Inside Sales, Account Management, B2B
  • Industry: Healthcare

OUR CULTURE

At IPA, we believe great results come from strong relationships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to helping our customers succeed. We foster an environment where employees are empowered to contribute ideas, grow professionally, and make a meaningful impact on the business.

We value diverse perspectives and experiences and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where every team member feels respected, supported, and empowered to succeed.

THINK YOU COULD BE A FIT?

If you're excited about this opportunity but don't meet every qualification listed, we still encourage you to apply. We recognize that strong candidates bring a variety of experiences, perspectives, and transferable skills that may not be reflected in a traditional resume.
