Business Continuity Specialist
The Opportunity:
Emergencies, disruptions, and unexpected events can halt operations-but not on your watch. As a Business Continuity Specialist, you'll ensure mission-critical functions keep running no matter what. This role provides senior-level continuity and emergency management support, leveraging deep knowledge of emergency management and established relationships to ensure uninterrupted mission continuity. You'll support an Intelligence Community (IC) client in maintaining a highly complex business continuity environment and managing a unique emergency communications program. You'll collaborate with SMEs, command centers, and external providers to develop and maintain a Casualty and Emergency Notification Program. You'll ensure timely notifications, analyze real-time metrics, and implement sustainable improvements to enhance crisis response capabilities.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in business continuity and emergency management within the IC
  • Experience with federal continuity directives, including FCD-1 and FCD-2, DoDI 3001.02, and government continuity plans
  • Ability to manage personnel accountability programs and mass alert notification systems
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Possession of excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) or Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
