To thrive as a Freelance R Shiny Developer, you need strong proficiency in R programming, Shiny app development, and a solid understanding of data analysis or statistics, often supported by a degree in a quantitative field. Familiarity with version control systems (like Git), cloud deployment platforms, and knowledge of relevant R packages are typically required.
