Job description
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java programming, object-oriented concepts, and software development practices, along with a willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
- Work with senior developers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend components.
- Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
- Write unit tests and support application testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with QA, product, and other development teams.
- Learn and apply modern Java development frameworks and technologies.
- 0–2 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version-control systems.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Maven, or Gradle.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, Docker, or CI/CD is a plus.
