We are looking for a talented Freelance Insight Manager to join our Insights team

The Insight team at 1000heads are a dynamic data-driven force, tasked with exploring what makes online consumers tick, understanding how brands are perceived by their communities and are responsible for extracting compelling stories from data. With a wealth of powerful analytics tools at our disposal, the Insight team crafts performance reports, new business proposals and strategic audits of global award-winning brands, working with a host of departmental specialists, from Community, to Paid Media, to Strategy. From designing mouth-watering data visualizations, keeping our clients up-to-date with the latest audience behaviors, to engineering social listening exercises into cultural trends, our actionable insights are at the heart of everything we do. Salary: $300 - $400 day

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute insight projects involving social listening, audience research, and data analysis across multiple client accounts.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and account teams to define research briefs and deliver clear, impactful reports.
  • Assist in developing and applying research methodologies and measurement frameworks to ensure data accuracy and insight consistency.
  • Analyze data from social listening platforms, digital analytics, and third-party research to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to internal teams and clients.
  • Support and work alongside junior insight staff, contributing to their development and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Stay current on emerging tools and techniques to continuously improve insight capabilities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in research, data analytics, or social media marketing, preferably in an agency or client-facing role.
  • Proficiency with social listening platforms, audience measurement tools (e.g., Global Web Index), and digital analytics.
  • Strong foundation in research design, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Deep understanding of major social media platforms and their strategic applications
Preferred Qualifications
