Job description

About Finalytics.ai

Finalytics.ai is a leading fintech company delivering AI-powered personalization solutions purpose-built for credit unions and community financial institutions. Our platform helps member-focused organizations deepen relationships, drive growth, and deliver the right financial products to the right members at the right moment. We are a lean, mission-driven team passionate about the positive impact community financial institutions have on the people they serve.

The Role

We're looking for a Python Integrations Developer to own and expand the third-party integrations that connect our platform with the systems financial institutions rely on every day. You'll be the go-to person for building, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations with digital banking platforms (Q2, Banno, Alkami), CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce), loan origination and account opening systems, and other vendor APIs.

This is a hands-on technical role with a client-facing dimension. You'll write Python code to connect systems, debug data flow issues, work directly with vendor documentation and support teams, and coordinate with our clients' IT departments to get integrations live. You'll need to be comfortable reading API docs, parsing data formats, and solving the messy real-world problems that come with connecting disparate systems.

What You'll Work On

  • Digital Banking Integrations - Build and maintain connections with Q2, Banno (Jack Henry), Alkami, and other digital banking platforms to ingest member data, account information, and transaction feeds
  • CRM Integration - Own integrations with HubSpot and Salesforce: contact syncing, deal tracking, custom property mapping, and workflow automation
  • Loan Origination & Account Opening - Connect with MeridianLink, Origence, Fiserv, nCino, Blend, Withclutch, and other LOS/OAO platforms to track application funnels and conversion data
  • Client Onboarding - Work with new clients to configure and test integrations during setup, including credential management, field mapping, and data validation
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting - Build alerting and logging around integration health; diagnose and resolve data sync failures, authentication issues, and schema changes

Key Integrations

  • Digital Banking: Q2, Banno (Jack Henry), Alkami, Digital Insight (NCR Voyix), Fizerv
  • CRM: Hubspot, Salesforce
  • LOS/OAO: MeridianLink, Origence, Fiserv,(OpenNow/Originate), nCino, Blend, Withclutch.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Google BigQuery, Google Tag Manager, Looker

Requirements

Must Have

  • 3+ years experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations - REST, SOAP, webhooks, file-based data exchange
  • Python proficiency - comfortable writing production Python code; Django experience preferred but not required if you can learn quickly
  • Financial services / digital banking experience - experience with one or more of: Q2, Jack Henry (Banno), Alkami, Bankjoy, Fiserv, or similar platforms
  • API troubleshooting skills - ability to diagnose auth failures, data mapping issues, rate limiting, and schema mismatches using logs, API docs, and tools like Postman
  • Clear communication - you'll coordinate with client IT teams, vendor support, and internal developers; ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed problem solving - vendor docs are often incomplete; you need to be comfortable figuring things out through experimentation, vendor support tickets, and reading source code

Nice to Have

  • HubSpot or Salesforce API experience - contact management, custom properties, workflow automation, deal pipelines
  • LOS/OAO systems - MeridianLink, Origence, nCino, Blend, Withclutch, or similar loan origination/account opening platforms
  • OAuth 2.0 / authentication protocols - implementing auth flows for third-party services
  • Google BigQuery or analytics platforms - writing analytical queries, working with GA4 event data
  • Experience working with credit unions or banks - understanding member data, account structures, and regulatory considerations

What We Value

  • Reliability over cleverness - integrations must work consistently; prefer simple, well-tested solutions over elegant but fragile ones
  • Vendor relationship skills - ability to work effectively with third-party support teams, escalate issues appropriately, and maintain productive relationships
  • Security mindset - handling sensitive financial data means thinking about encryption, access control, credential management, and data retention

Work Style

  • Small engineering team with direct access to product decisions
  • Two-week sprint cycles with regular deployments
  • Mix of building new integrations, maintaining existing ones, and supporting client onboarding
  • Direct interaction with clients during integration setup and troubleshooting
  • AI-assisted development tools available (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)

Location

This is a remote position. We prefer candidates located in Central US time zones for coverage across our client base, but we're flexible for the right candidate.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary ($100,000 - $130,000 based on experience)
  • Remote-first culture
  • Opportunity to grow with a scaling fintech company
  • Direct impact on client success and company growth
  • Collaborative, low-ego team environment
