What does a freelance project manager do?

A freelance project manager provides independent management services for a client or organization on a contract basis. Project manager positions are available in many fields, including software development and construction. Job description

Graphic Designer
The Clearwater Marketing team is looking for a detail-oriented Graphic Designer who thrives on turning brand guidelines into polished, on-brand deliverables quickly. This role is ideal for a designer who works well within an existing brand system and templates, and who takes pride in speed, accuracy, and consistency across every asset. You'll operate in a fast-paced financial services/tech environment where marketing moves quickly and deadlines are tight.
You'll work closely with Marketing team members (content, events, social media, demand gen, and more) and occasionally with external agencies or freelancers, translating requests and creative direction into finished, on-brand assets across digital and print channels.
Motion graphics and video experience are not required but are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Produce a high volume of on-brand design assets using our existing brand system, templates, and style guides across digital and print channels.
  • Design and produce deliverables including brochures, one-pagers, event booths and materials, website assets, social graphics, digital ad campaigns, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Partner with Marketing team members to understand project requirements and turn briefs into accurate, polished final files quickly.
  • Maintain brand consistency and a high level of craft and attention to detail across all outputs.
  • Adapt and extend existing templates to fit new formats and channels efficiently, flagging opportunities to build new templates that speed up future production.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Proactively flag inconsistencies, errors, or brand issues before final delivery.

Required Qualifications
  • Digital portfolio required.
  • 3-6 years of professional production design experience in-house, at an agency, or in a fast-paced B2B/B2C environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing accurate, high-craft production work across digital and print formats.
  • Fluent in current design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Solid design fundamentals: typography, layout, color, and print/digital production specs.
  • Experience working within an established brand system and following brand guidelines precisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-QC work before handoff.
  • Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communicator, able to ask clarifying questions and incorporate feedback efficiently.
  • Experience with motion graphics or video formats is a plus, but not required.
