To thrive as a Freelance Programmer, you need strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, experience with software development principles, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, cloud platforms, and common development tools is essential, and certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer can be beneficial.
