Job Description:
The Manager of Content and Communications leads the development and execution of a strategic content program that builds brand authority, supports advisor and investor engagement, and advances the firm's growth objectives. This is a senior editorial and communications role for a creative, analytically minded professional who thrives at the intersection of investment storytelling, financial marketing and multi-channel distribution.
The Manager will own the firm's editorial calendar and thought leadership platform, working closely with investment teams, product management, sales and distribution partners to translate complex investment concepts into compelling content.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the firm's annual content strategy aligned to investment themes, distribution priorities, and market conditions
  • Drive an integrated editorial calendar spanning thought leadership, fund communications, advisor tools, and investor education
  • Serve as editorial manager for all externally facing written materials, ensuring consistency of voice, accuracy and brand integrity
  • Translate portfolio manager and analyst insights into high-impact collateral, with an emphasis on digital development and delivery
  • Work within organizational framework to develop and distribute key firm communications
  • Develop and maintain messaging frameworks, firm narratives, and positioning documents for institutional and intermediary audiences
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure all content meets regulatory standards (FINRA, SEC) and firm approval protocols
  • Partner with Fund Marketing, Digital and Design teams to ensure content is optimized for SEO, digital distribution and sales enablement
  • Collaborate with Fund Marketing to develop product-specific content supporting launches, campaigns and RFP processes
  • Maintain strong relationships with investment teams to surface timely ideas and ensure portfolio perspective is accurately represented
  • Define KPIs and reporting cadences for content effectiveness, including engagement metrics, pipeline influence and share of voice
  • Manage and develop content production workflows, agency/freelance relationships, and technology platforms (CMS, DAM, email tools)
  • Oversee content compliance processes, version control, and archiving in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • 8+ years of content, communications, or editorial experience, with a minimum of 3 years in financial services or asset management
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, engaging prose for advisor, institutional and retail audiences
  • Experience managing and developing content strategy or communications team in a regulated environment
  • Proven track record of building and executing content programs that measurably support sales and brand objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including executive-level presentation capability
  • Proficiency with content management systems, AI tools for content optimization, digital marketing platforms and marketing analytics tools

Preferred:
  • Experience with multi-boutique, SMA, ETF or alternative investment platforms
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, HubSpot, Seismic or similar sales enablement tools
  • Experience supporting distribution through wirehouses, RIAs or independent broker-dealers
