Job Summary

The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, data warehouses, ETL processes, reports, dashboards, and analytical applications. The role collaborates with business and IT teams to deliver data-driven insights, ensure data accuracy, and support business decision-making through reporting and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse, ETL, and Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather reporting and data requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through testing and validation.
  • Evaluate user requirements and recommend appropriate BI solutions.
  • Develop enterprise and departmental BI applications and reporting solutions.
  • Build key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytical dashboards.
  • Develop interactive reports to support business performance monitoring.
  • Perform quality assurance on reports and reporting solutions.
  • Design end-to-end BI solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging BI technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Perform additional BI development duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with databases, data modeling, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, MDX, T-SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
  • Strong experience with relational and multidimensional database modeling.
  • Experience in data visualization and dashboard design.
  • Experience working in complex data environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data warehouse technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and cloud ETL solutions.
  • Database or Data Warehouse certifications are a plus.
