Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Photographer to support a fast-paced commercial photography studio producing high-volume e-commerce and marketing imagery. This role assists with product preparation, capture execution, file handling, color accuracy, and maintaining studio standards across multiple home furnishings and décor product categories.

This position is ideal for someone early in their photography career who wants hands-on experience in professional commercial photography and high-volume studio production.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality product images following established studio standards and shot lists
  • Assist with studio setup, lighting adjustments, and equipment preparation
  • Prepare products for photography, including styling, steaming, cleaning, and positioning
  • Execute consistent framing, composition, focus, exposure, and color
  • Follow established naming conventions and file organization procedures
  • Perform basic color correction and image review
  • Export and deliver image files according to production requirements
  • Maintain production schedules and meet daily output expectations
  • Support the capture of multiple shot types, including product, detail, overhead, and lifestyle imagery
  • Assist with set changes and the movement of merchandise
  • Identify image quality issues and escalate when needed
  • Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
  • Collaborate with photographers, stylists, retouchers, and production teams

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of photography experience through commercial work, studio work, internships, freelance work, or education
