What does it mean to get paid as a freelancer in crypto?

Getting paid as a freelancer in crypto means receiving your compensation for freelance work in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other digital assets instead of traditional fiat currencies like USD or EUR.
