Concrete Paver Installer – Execute High-End Commercial & Residential Hardscape Builds


Job Overview

  • Project Scope: High-Profile Hardscapes, Driveways, and Retaining Walls.

The Opportunity

You will join a skilled hardscape crew delivering premium driveways, walkways, patios, and retaining walls that set local industry standards. This role connects you with a stable, 20-year construction leader known for executing high-profile developments across Orange County. You will have the platform to showcase your specialized craftsmanship while utilizing top-tier, company-provided equipment.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Excavate, grade, and prepare complex base materials for precise paver and retaining wall layouts.
  • Install concrete, clay, and natural stone pavers to strict engineering and drainage specifications.
  • Execute clean, accurate dimension cuts utilizing industrial wet saws and mechanical stone splitters.
  • Construct durable retaining walls, structural steps, and secure edge restraints on active sites.
  • Operate plate compactors and specialized small field equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate the loading, unloading, and staging of heavy masonry materials across the jobsite.
  • Maintain an organized, debris-free, and safety-compliant workspace throughout the build lifecycle.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on commercial or residential paver installation experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven working knowledge of base preparation, screeding, aggregate compaction, and polymeric sand applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to read basic site plans, architectural blueprints, and take precise field measurements.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Active ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) certification.
  • Advanced masonry experience building outdoor kitchens, fire features, or intricate natural stone layouts.
  • Strong background in commercial hardscape water mitigation and stormwater management infrastructure.
