Alternate Locations: Radnor, PA (Pennsylvania); Charlotte, NC (North Carolina); Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana); Greensboro, NC (North Carolina); Omaha, NE (Nebraska)

The Role at a Glance
As the Operational Risk Manager, you will lead a team focused on strengthening operational risk practices, leading financial audit activities, and driving consistent review processes across assigned business area(s). You will partner closely with management and stakeholders to identify emerging risks, recommend process improvements, and build team capability in support of effective risk management and audit outcomes.
What you'll be doing
  • Monitors an ever-changing regulatory environment to proactively partner with management to develop and implement new procedures and policies, in an effort to reduce operational risk.
  • Develops and ensures team uses a consistent approach to operational and compliance reviews, issues and/or concerns to determine similar solutions within appropriate risk levels to minimize the company's exposure.
  • Leads the preparing, updating and/or filing of applicable operational and compliance reports, forms and procedures for their assigned area(s).
  • Manages the operational risk review process and related compliance activities for their assigned area(s), (e.g. SOX and other financial audits).
  • Manages a team responsible for reviewing assigned business area processes & policies and regularly conducting the operational risk reviews.
  • Assesses continually the effectiveness of operational risk program/plan to ensure that it fully meets its obligations of general and specific compliance risks.
  • Manages leads and/or participates in more complex compliance projects.

What we're looking for
Must-haves:
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, operational and/or business risk management directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role, including 2+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience
  • 4 year/Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience

Nice-to-haves:
  • CPA or CIA designation

The pay range for this position is $72,900 - $131,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
