Create Visual Stories That Reach People Around the World
Lakewood Church is seeking an experienced Visual Content Producer � Photography to lead the planning, capture, editing, and delivery of high-quality photography for Lakewood Church and Joel Osteen Ministries.
This is a hands-on photography production role for an experienced visual storyteller who can take a project from concept through final delivery. You'll help create imagery for marketing campaigns, digital platforms, events, ministry initiatives, editorial needs, and live experiences while maintaining the quality and visual standards of the Lakewood brand.
Working directly with the Senior Digital Producer and collaborating with Branding, Marketing, and ministry partners, you'll support visual content needs across Lakewood Church, Joel Osteen Ministries, Lakewood Music, Youth, and other ministry areas.
If you combine strong commercial photography expertise with creative direction, production planning, and the ability to execute at a high level in fast-moving environments, this role offers the opportunity to help shape visual stories seen by audiences around the world.
Work Schedule
  • Sunday - Thursday
  • This role requires flexibility based on photography production and ministry needs
  • Evening, weekend, holiday, Sunday, and live-event availability will be required as needed

What You'll Do
Working directly with the Senior Digital Producer, you'll lead photography projects from initial concept and production planning through shooting, post-production, and final delivery.
Photography Production & Creative Direction
  • Lead photography projects from concept through final delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with campaign goals
  • Collaborate with the Senior Digital Producer, Director of Branding, Marketing team, and ministry partners to develop visual concepts, shot direction, and creative strategies
  • Develop creative briefs, mood boards, shot lists, schedules, and other pre-production materials
  • Coordinate locations, resources, production timelines, and other needs required for successful shoots
  • Help translate campaign and ministry objectives into compelling visual concepts

Photography & On-Set Execution
  • Capture high-quality photography for marketing campaigns, events, editorial needs, digital platforms, ministry initiatives, and live experiences
  • Direct subjects, environments, lighting, and composition to create strong visual storytelling
  • Operate professional camera systems and apply advanced knowledge of lighting, exposure, color, lensing, and composition
  • Make creative and technical decisions in real time to ensure photography meets established expectations
  • Maintain organized, professional, and efficient shoot environments
  • Guide photographers, freelancers, support staff, and other creative contributors as needed

Editing & Post-Production
  • Edit, retouch, color correct, and process photography using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and related tools
  • Prepare and export final photography assets for print, web, social media, LED walls, and other digital platforms
  • Ensure final imagery meets brand standards, technical requirements, and project timelines
  • Organize, archive, and maintain photography assets according to established workflows
  • Maintain strong file organization and photography asset-management practices

Project & Workflow Management
  • Manage multiple photography projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, freelancers, photographers, and support staff throughout production
  • Maintain photography equipment and production resources
  • Follow established photography workflows, department standards, and production best practices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Extensive professional photography experience, particularly within commercial, marketing, editorial, campaign, and event environments
  • Advanced knowledge of lighting, composition, exposure, color, lensing, and visual storytelling
  • The ability to plan and execute professional photography productions from concept through final delivery
  • Strong creative judgment and the ability to direct subjects, environments, and on-set production
  • Experience producing photography within established brand guidelines for large organizations or high-visibility brands
  • Proficiency with professional camera systems such as Canon, Sony, Hasselblad, or comparable equipment
  • Expertise in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Strong post-production, retouching, and color-correction skills
  • Strong project-management, organizational, and time-management abilities
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven creative environment
  • Experience coordinating with photographers, freelancers, vendors, support staff, and other creative contributors
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and departments
  • Knowledge of photography asset management, file organization, and workflow systems
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, Sundays, and live events as required
  • The physical ability to stand, move, lift, carry, and transport photography equipment for extended periods

Education & Experience:
  • Professional photography portfolio required
  • Minimum five years of professional photography production experience, including marketing, campaign, and event photography
  • Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Communications, Media Studies, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience accepted in place of a degree
