KID Museum is looking for a Marketing Associate to join our team and help bring our mission to life through engaging digital content, storytelling, and community connection.

Why Join KID Museum?

At KID Museum, we believe in the power of creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning to shape the future. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Tell meaningful stories about programs that empower youth through innovation and design
  • Collaborate with passionate, mission-driven colleagues across the organization
  • Build your marketing and digital communications skills in a dynamic nonprofit environment
  • See your work directly support programs, events, and community impact

About the Role

As our Marketing Associate, you'll play a key role in shaping how audiences experience KID Museum online. From social media posts and email campaigns to capturing event moments and sharing impact stories, your work will help grow our reach and deepen engagement.

You'll collaborate closely with our Marketing Director and cross-functional teams to promote programs, support campaigns, and bring our brand to life across digital channels.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Create and schedule engaging content for social media and email
  • Write compelling copy for programs, campaigns, and events
  • Capture photos and short-form videos that showcase our work in action
  • Help grow and engage our digital audience
  • Support marketing campaigns, events, and storytelling initiatives
  • Track performance metrics and help refine strategies

What We're Looking For

  • A strong communicator with excellent writing and attention to detail
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with social media and email marketing platforms
  • A creative mindset with an interest in storytelling and digital content
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (internships and freelance work count!)
  • Bonus: Canva, photography, or video editing skills

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is excited about mission-driven work and wants to grow in the nonprofit marketing space.

Schedule

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position, with occasional evening and weekend hours (scheduled in advance).
