Our customer has asked Talent 101 to identify aTest Technician. This is a12 monthonsite contract located inNorth Dallas, Texas. This position requires the person to be onsite during the workweek and work Shift 1 (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) or shift 2 (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
What is the project about, what will the selected candidate be doing and what is the outcome our customer expects?
· Operate Automated Eagle Test Systems (ETS), Exascale, Flex and VLCT ATE Testers across analog, mixed-signal, and digital domains.
· Work in conjunction with Test Engineers regarding test results, edit code to alter test result outcomes in relation to Spec.
· Execute and monitor test programs, flagging anomalies and supporting root cause analysis for yield excursions.
· Perform preventative maintenance on ETS hardware, probe stations, and test interfaces to ensure uptime and accuracy.
· Collaborate with test and product engineers to validate test coverage, debug failures, and optimize test flows.
· Document test results, serialization, and lot disposition in systems.
· Support engineering lots, qualification runs, and test program revisions for new designs.
What is required to be successful in this opportunity?
Associate’s degree or technical certification in electronics, semiconductor technology, or related field.
· 4+ years of hands-on experience with Eagle Test Systems or equivalent ATE platforms.
· Familiarity with ATE and test floor protocols.
· Ability to interpret schematics, debug test setups, and analyze electrical measurements.
· Proficiency with basic software tools (Excel, MES, SPC, test data viewers).
· Experience with Eagle, Teradyne, Exascale, Flex, or Advantest platforms.
· Knowledge of low-pin-count testing, leakage, shorts, and parametric analysis for devices.
· Understanding of package-level reliability risks (e.g., solder ball integrity, pad stress) and how they relate to test results.
· Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced test floor setting with strict ESD and safety protocols.
· Shift-based work may be required (day/night/weekend rotation). Shift one/two flexibility
· Collaborative team culture focused on quality, throughput, and continuous improvement.
· Might need flexibility on schedule depending on tester availability.
