The Publicis Media Exchange tactically plans and activates across all local media channels too, including Television, Radio, Traditional OOH, Streaming Audio, Digital Video (OTT/CTV/VOD), and Digital & Programmatic OOH.

Our tactical planning roles are the critical thread translating the communication goals to tactical plans and outcomes. In this role your passion for learning marketplace nuances and local dynamics will be pivotal to our success.

Responsibilities

As a Supervisor, Local Tactical Planning, you will:

  • Be responsible for contributing to the development of and executing local tactical planning for the assigned business. 

  • Evaluate capabilities and composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which most effectively reaches the target audience

  • Evaluate and assesses media performance to determine the extent to which the original media objectives and strategies were accomplished

  • Research, interpret and evaluate available marketing and research data to develop media objectives and local tactical plans

  • Effectively communicate and present to top management and clients

  • Closely supervise the implementation and execution of the media plan, which includes ideation, budgeting, scheduling and establishing benchmarks for control

  • Maintain accurate budget control and flow of media activity and update client on timely/consistent basis

  • Approve media authorizations prepared by team per approved plans/project requests

  • Be accountable for accuracy and media intelligence

  • Supervise and motivate direct reports

  • Coordinate and communicate across inter-agency partnerships and internal resources/teams

  • Manage the process and procedure for client set up, billing and all administrative functions

  • Act as a resource for others to resolve complex questions/problems

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time

  • Advocate for multicultural & diversity inclusion throughout tactical plans

Qualifications

This is a great opportunity for you if you have 5+ years of experience planning (local preferred) and are great with people; If you are approachable, collaborative, responsible and accountable; If you exhibit sharp attention to detail and strong math skills; If you have an intermediate knowledge of Excel and experience with GLP, OX and Prisma media platforms. Digital channel experience is required for this position.

Compensation Range: $75,050 - $120,159 annually . This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
