Job description

Salary Range $20.00 - $26.00
Job Summary
Triple C Trucking is seeking Class A delivery drivers with customer service skills and a clean driving record. Routes all within California.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Delivers meat for Central Valley Meat Company, Inc. to customer's location of business.
  • Responsible to keep truck clean.
  • Listens to and resolves service complaints.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Completes a daily truck log and submits reports of mileage.
  • Observes and reports equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
  • Manages routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
  • Finds ways to conserve resources, including fuel.
  • Serves as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
  • Conducts daily inspections of the vehicle at the beginning and end of the shift and reports any problems or damage to the Shop Supervisor.
  • Drives truck over established route to dedicated customers.
  • Practices safe work methods at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • Valid class A CDL license with a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
  • Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
  • Can perform basic math calculations: addition, subtraction, division, & multiplication.
  • Can communicate and work effectively with co-workers.
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Can read and write Basic English.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2+ years' commercial driving experience required.
  • Must be able to pass drug test and acceptable medical exam.
  • 3 year DMV printout.
  • Criminal background clearance.
