CADRE is relied upon for delivering superior insight and leadership to solve the nation's most critical national security challenges in the most demanding environments.This Systems Administrator position is located in Northern Virginia with flexible core hours.The Systems Administrator provides in-depth support and problem resolution for information technology products, access administration, and/or applications. The Systems Administrator interacts with users to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and performance problems for customers using mainframe, LANs, PCs and printers. The Systems Administrator also analyzes and levies customer requirements to the appropriate technical business unit, and may serve on teams installing software upgrades. Duties: This Systems Administrator performs the following core functions:Responsible for providing timely and dependable desktop and access administration support as well as problem resolution within the teamInteract with customers on-site in response to IT requests and problem resolutionResolve technical issues relating to multiple operating environments and various hardware issues (repair, reconfiguration, installation); and issues with both the standard suite of software products Microsoft Office suite, Lotus Notes, Skype, and other project-specific applications and configurationsWork closely with customers' IT needs and/or problems to ensure they are diagnosed and resolved in a timely fashion, while ensuring appropriate security standards and procedures are employedCoordinate projects with appropriate service proviclers and customers, identify/resolve project issues, and keep customers/project team members informed of projects' statusesProvide access administration services (i.e., provirie customers access to project-specific applications, databases and shared files; process Enterprise Acr.•.ss Request and Reporting System requests; verify accesses; obtain approvals, and serve as a liaison between users and other support offices to resolve/fulfill IT and access administration problems/requirements)Perform the physical setup and configuration of desktop hardware and software as neededPerform other duties as assigned at the discretion of Project Management Required Qualifications:Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polyBachelor's degree preferred, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill.Minimum of six (6) years of experience specific to the skill.Thorough knowledge of Windows based PCs and common peripheralsThorough knowledge of the standard application suites, (e.g. Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Skype, etc.)Ability to identify and resolve technical problemsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExperience with SIP and PBX technologyConsiderable knowledge of standard desktop hardware and softwareAbility to successfully plan, coordinate, track, and execute multiple tasks with competing prioritiesKnowledge of information security technologies and security guidelinesStrong troubleshooting skillsAbility to explain rules, procedures and technical information clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writingAbility to work independently and in a team environment with minimum supervisionDemonstrated ability to follow-through on assigned tasksAbility to execute multiple tasks in an independent mannerKnowledge of server administration, maintenance, and user account managementWillingness to get hands dirty, move equipment and capable of lifting 20 lbs Desired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with poly with most recent BI/Poly dates within the last five year
