Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract | Manchester, NH

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) travel job in Manchester, NH — 13-week contract, night shift (3x12), Epic charting required. Join a collaborative acute care team and advance your respiratory care and critical care skills in a busy 300-bed community hospital.

Job Details – Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,610 – $1,730
  • Location: Manchester, NH (zip 03103) — travel respiratory therapist, local candidates and nationwide applicants considered
  • Facility: Acute care community hospital, 300 beds
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/10/2026)
  • Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour (18:15 – 06:45); Night RRT/Respiratory Therapist role
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
  • Epic Charting Experience: Required (Epic experience preferred for travel RRT roles)
  • Orientation: 12 hours of paid orientation provided for travel RRTs
Required Qualifications – Respiratory Therapist Jobs (RRT)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Valid New Hampshire state license (candidates with license pending will be considered)
  • BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Experience in trauma, community hospital settings, Emergency Department (ER), and adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Preferred: ACLS, PALS, CRTT, RRT certifications; pediatric and Level I trauma experience
  • Vaccination: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required
Key Responsibilities – Respiratory Care & Critical Care
  • Deliver respiratory care to patients across age groups (infants to geriatrics; neonatal experience a plus)
  • Perform airway management, assist with intubations and bronchoscopies, and support mechanical ventilation
  • Manage ventilator settings, arterial blood gases (ABGs), oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, and nebulizer treatments
  • Provide non-invasive ventilation support including BiPAP and CPAP, high-flow oxygen therapy, NIV, cough assist, IPV, and continuous albuterol
  • Administer respiratory medications and emergency interventions per hospital protocols
  • Perform in-house transport of mechanically ventilated patients and provide critical care support during transfers
  • Operate common respiratory equipment (Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, LTV 1200/HT70 preferred)
  • Float as needed across departments including ER, adult med/surg, and adult critical care units; pediatric care assignment with demonstrated competency
