Responsibilities for Senior Estimator-HVAC: Read AutoCAD Drawings Prepare mechanical estimate take-offs Review Sub-contractor estimates and quotes Build Conceptual Estimates Identify and communicate conflicts and errors in estimates Visit with clients, general contractors and engineers Look for value engineering opportunities Train junior estimators Requirements for Senior Estimator-HVAC: 10 or more years of HVAC experience 5 or more years of Estimating experience Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or similar Quickpen BlueBeam Strong computer and communication skills Knowlege of OSHPD and CA building codes
