Job description

As a Land Acquisition Specialist at Ryan Homes, a brand of NVR, you will assist the land acquisition department in analyses used to acquire raw land or finished lots for our homebuilding operations.
What you will be doing:
  • Develop and maintain a land pipeline tracking system.
  • Research and identify new opportunities resulting from municipal driven rezoning and infrastructure improvements.
  • Utilize GIS software and related resources to identify target development parcels.
  • Prepare New Site Selection forms for new and ongoing deals requiring investment decisions.
  • Perform resale and new home comparable analysis.
  • Prepare land development timeline and budgets for entitlements.
  • Complete Community Position analysis for new acquisitions and ongoing communities requiring investment decisions.
  • Prepare presentation material used to facilitate the RFP process for Raw Land Deals.
  • Assist homebuilding division partners with the preparation of financial analyses, development timelines, plans, budgets and Proformas.

Qualified applicants have/are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related analytical field preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
